"Stop Blogging Until You
Have Read This Page"

Blogging could be the most valuable business marketing tool ever invented (check out what Seth Godin and Tom Peters say about it in this 1 minute 38 second video)

But, if it is so darn valuable, why aren't more business people doing it and why is it generally considered such a huge waste of time?

The answer to these questions is simple:

Most business people find the technology
side of blogging much too complicated.

I know, I was one of them. My name is Allen Oelschlaeger and I'm a long-time corporate executive, serial entrepreneur, published author, and marketing professor -- but, up until recently, I was not a blogger.

I tried -- I really did -- but the complications of blogging technology kept getting in my way.

Sure, I could have used Blogger, Squarespace, Typepad, or one of the other commercial services but I knew that anyone who was serious about blogging for business used WordPress, installed on their own Internet servers.

There are a bunch of reasons for this but the most significant can be summed up in one word -- plugins.

See, the commercial blogging services are closed systems -- designed for the masses -- so their flexibility is limited.

In contrast, WordPress has thousands of plugins (with more being developed every day) that can extend its functionality and performance dramatically.

In fact, at the WordPress Plugin Directory it says that the availabile plugins "can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine."

So, that was my dilemma.

If I was going to spend time blogging for the rest of my career (which has become almost a requirement for business owners, authors, and consultants), I wanted things set up correctly from the get-go so I would get the maximum marketing value from my efforts.

Surprisingly, I couldn't find anyone to tell me how to do this.

Sure, there are Internet gurus who charge thousands of dollars to share what they know about blogging but they don't get into the nitty gritty details of blog technology. They leave that up to their technology guys -- who only work for the big players to whom they charge a fortune.

In trying to find someone to help me, one thing became extremely clear -- using WordPress with the right set of plugins was the ONLY choice.

In fact, I had one Internet guru tell me that commercial systems (e.g., Blogger) had such compromises that he couldn't recommend spending time blogging if that's what was going to be used. The marketing results just wouldn't be worth it.

Multimedia Issues

I did finally get a WordPress blog set up (however, I know now that it wasn't done well) but then I ran into another problem.

Multimedia (rather than just text) is the future of the Internet and I couldn't figure out how to do all of the stuff necessary to embed video and audio into my blog (e.g., record it, convert it, upload it, etc.).

But, I knew that my blog entries absolutely needed to use all forms of media -- otherwise, they'd just consist of dry text, and how interesting is that?

The other -- potentially more significant -- challenge with multimedia is the storage and bandwidth it requires and I knew it wouldn't be long before I swamped the servers on which my blog resided.

These multimedia issues were so significant I just assumed someone had figured out a solution -- but it didn't take me long to realize I was dead wrong.

I decided to do something about it

I knew blogging was important, but in my experience ...

...the technology side of blogging
was just too complicated.

So, I decided to do something about it and, after about a year of research and development, I formed Souped-Up Blogs to solve all of the problems I had identified -- plus do a lot more.

When you become a Souped-Up Blogs subscriber, here is what you get:

  • A WordPress blog installed wherever you wish. We can place it on the Internet servers where your website resides or we are happy to keep it on our servers.
  • Installation of the smartest and most powerful plugins (including some proprietary ones of our own -- see below) to ensure you get the maximum marketing value from your blogging efforts (e.g., maximum Internet distribution of your posts, optimal search engine optimization, cool social networking features).
  • Customized design so your blog has all of the correct functionality for optimal blogging and looks great.
  • Synchronization of your WordPress blog with whatever social networking accounts you may have (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).

In other words, you get a "souped-up blog" that is a monster marketing tool and dead simple use.

One more thing

Actually, once I solved the problem of blogging technology being too complicated I realized there were massive additional technology challenges of being an Internet marketer.

  • How do you record video and audio clips and then get them converted to the right format for the Internet?
  • What about recording teleconferences for use in your marketing?
  • How do you send a video/audio email?
  • Once you record a video or audio, how do you get it on your website? [we do this automatically for blogging -- but getting it on your website is another matter]
  • How do you podcast?

The great news is that the technology we put in place to make Souped-Up Blogs the best blogging system on the planet also provides simple solutions to all of these challenges -- and more.

In fact, when you become a Souped-Up Blogs subscriber, you are actually getting access to the best video and audio marketing system on the planet.

Here are the kinds of things you can do with this system:

  • Record and store video/audio clips with your computer's webcam/microphone using the integrated media recorder. This eliminates all of the hassle of recording video and audio, so you can send video/audio email, add video/audio to your website, post video/audio blog entries, and podcast (see below).
  • Upload video/audio files in almost any format and let the system's transcoders automatically convert them to the optimal formats for the Internet (.FLV and .MOV for video, MP3 for audio). Make videos with any camcorder and then let this technology eliminate all the complexity of using them in your online marketing.
  • Record and store telephone calls of up to 3 hours in length with no per-minute charges. Use for recording phone calls, teleseminars, and phone interviews that you can then share with your prospects and customers. This is just one example of what you can do with the unlimited disk storage that comes with your Souped-Up Blogs account.
  • Send a video or audio email using the integrated multi-media email system (you won't believe how simple this is to do). Include graphics (dozens of templates are available) and add links to other web pages. Video-only email services with less features charge $50 per month or more for just this one functionality.
  • Add custom players (8 video and 10 audio choices) to your website that, when started*, will stream in your video or audio content to any webpage (5 GB of bandwidth is included in the low monthly fee). Adding video and audio to your website could not be easier. *Video and audios can be set to start automatically upon page load.
  • Embed video and audio into your emails with just a few mouse clicks. Integrates with virtually any email/CRM marketing system (e.g., Infusion Soft, Constant Contact, iContact, AWeber).
  • Set up your Twitter account on the system and publish video and audio to that account just like you publish to your blog.
  • Set up a podcast and start producing your own online radio show within minutes.

And here's the best part -- you can learn how to use all this advanced, Internet marketing functionality in less than an hour. And, if you run into a snag, our fanatical customer support is available to assist you.

Revolutionize Your Online Marketing

Souped-Up Blogs isn't just the best blogging system in the world -- it's also the best video and audio marketing system.

Here are some more ideas of what you'll be able to do with this technology.

  • Make all of your marketing more personal by using video and audio messages from you and your staff. Post more interesting and compelling blog entries, send video/audio emails instead of plain text, add video and audo to your website.

  • Showcase your products using video.

  • Add additional media recorders to other pages on your website and blog (this is beyond the one we set up on your blog-post-submit page). These recorders can be used for other purposes, such as to create an online audio/video forum, gather audio/video feedback on a new product or service, or create a video "squeeze page."

  • Record your teleseminars and make the recording available to people who could not attend the live event.

Again, these are just a few of the possibilities on how you can use your Souped Up Blog system to take your marketing to a whole new level.

P.S. In doing research about blogs, I discovered another issue that is critical to successful blogging --- identifying the keyword phrases about which you should create blog posts that will drive the maximum search engine traffic.

I want to solve this problem also -- so, if you order soon, we'll do an extensive keyword analysis of your business to determine the best phrases (usually 50 to 100) on which to focus.

We will then add these phrases to a page accessible directly from your Souped-Up Blogs posting page -- so it will be readily available each time you create a post.

Just select a phrase from the list, put it in the post title, and then create content (video, audio, text/photo) that's narrowly focused on the selected keyword phrase.

It doesn't get any easier to create blog posts that will be devoured by the search engines.

Be sure to order soon so you don't miss out on this valuable bonus (many search engine consultants charge over $500 to do the analysis that we will include at no charge).
